• Case Officer, (Sa Ghaeltacht) Native Space Employment Companies (LAES).  

It is a 2-year fixed-term contract and will stop/proceed after this date, depending on funding and referrals from Division of Social Safety.  The Case Officer shall be required to work as a member of the LAES Group inside DLDC to supply companies to the long-term unemployed, under-employed and employers in Donegal.   The aim of the position is to supply companies to purchasers within the Gaeltacht space; subsequently the Case Officer should be fluent in Irish.  It’s anticipated that the position shall be primarily based in Dungloe.

Detailed data of the realm of employment, enterprise and/or profession steering is required.

A proper qualification within the space of steering or counselling or different related space [Qualified to L7 and/or be willing to work towards L7 accreditation] is fascinating. 

• Employer Engagement Co-ordinator

It is a 2-year fixed-term contract topic to funding and consumer consumption as set out by the Division.  The Employer Engagement Coordinator will play a lead position in constructing and supporting relationships with a variety of employers within the DLDC catchment space.  The Employer Engagement Coordinator will work intently with DLDC’s, Native Space Employment Companies (LAES), Employment Helps, Studying & Enterprise, and New Communities groups to supply employment alternatives to the long-term unemployed, under-employed and new neighborhood teams in Donegal.  

A Minimal of three years’ related expertise of working within the space of employment, employer engagement and/or profession steering is required. Should possess a complete understanding of the employment market and the wants of employers together with an understanding of the wants of the long-term unemployed and under-employed.
