Natasha Adams wins Bord na Mona Tullamore Half Marathon

It was one other busy week for Letterkenny Athletic Membership and the weekly notes are out now.

Bord na Mona Tullamore Half Marathon

Congratulations to Natasha Adams who received the Bord na Mona Tullamore Half Marathon and in so doing set a course document. An impressive achievement by an excellent athlete.

Donegal Half Marathon

The Donegal Half Marathon, sponsored by Kernan’s, occurred over the weekend with many rivals from LAC performing very properly.

The primary LAC member to cross the road was Philip McHugh in third place in an excellent time of 1:15:28.

Raymond Birch completed in 1:16:17, Kevin Ferry 1:25:59, Stephen Woods 1:29:40, Callum Keaveny 1:30:20, Barry Mackey 1:30:35, Adrian Callaghan 1:31:59, Mark McFadden 1:36:11, Gary Kearns 1:36:18, Sean McFadden 1:38:47, Eamon O’Boyle 1:41:21, Declan Callaghan 1:42:32, Mairead Cullen 1:47:39, Frank Pinder Snr. 1:49:30, Noel Lynch 1:49:56, Naoise Enright 1:50:55, John Anthony McMullen 1:52:00, Pat Brady 1:52:18, Trish Callaghan 1:57:01, Graeme Michie 1:58:14 and Diane Bustard in 2:17:08.

Antrim Coast Half Marathon

Nakita Burke and Noeleen Scanlon ran for Ulster within the Antrim Coast Half Marathon final weekend. Nicely carried out Nakita and Noeleen.

LAC meets Tuesday 5.15pm and at 6.30pm for an interval operating session, Thursday night for a hill run at 6pm, Saturday morning at 9.30am for a tempo run and Sunday morning at 8am for a future.

All runs begin on the Aura. All ranges catered for and inspired.

Match 4 Life which is run by LAC at the side of the Donegal Sports activities Partnership takes place each Monday at 5.45pm on the monitor on the Aura Leisure Centre Letterkenny.

The goal of the programme is to succeed in out to those that want to enhance their health and all are most welcome any Monday they select to attend. Match 4 Life will not be about pace however health and the coaches from LAC notably welcome newcomers.
