Podium medals for Donegal athletes in Cardiff

4 Donegal athletes had been in successful kind on the Welsh Athletics U20 Worldwide in Cardiff yesterday.

Tír Chonaill AC’s Fintan Dewhirst gained gold within the U20 400m hurdles. The Glenties athlete set a gathering document of 52.16 seconds.

Lifford Strabane AC’s Adrienne Gallen had a high quality victory too, successful gold within the Hammer with a throw of 52.69m. Finn Valley AC pair Hannah Murray and Joseph Gillespie gained silver medals. Gillespie took silver within the triple bounce with a finest bounce of 14.36m. Murray completed the 400m in 56.98 seconds.
