Two extra males earlier than Ballyshannon courtroom following brutal assault

Two extra males have been charged in relation to assaults and a variety of public order incidents exterior a pub in Co Sligo.

A complete of 5 arrests have now taken place over an assault in Sligo city on Sunday evening/Monday morning.

Three males had been overwhelmed within the main disturbance, which resulted in a single man having to be rescued from the Garavogue river by emergency providers. Three males had been taken to Sligo College Hospital for therapy of non-life-threatening accidents.

Gardaí arrested and charged three males aged of their 20s and 40s on Wednesday.
