Victory for Carndonagh in Donegal Intermediate Cup Last

Carndonagh Senior Hurlers avenged final 12 months’s defeat with a 2–12 to 2-08 victory over MacCumhaills at O Donnell Park to take the Donegal Intermediate Cup. 

The Inishowen males led by 2-08 to 2-04 at halftime, Luke White from a penalty and Man of the Match Donal Doherty who completed with 1-04 acquired their objectives whereas Shane McMenamin and Ger Cunningham goaled for MacCumhaill in a aggressive first-half. 

The second-half was a low-scoring affair, 0-04 factors apiece and a 4 level victory for Carndonagh.

James Monagle contributed 0-03 factors for the winners whereas Lee Henderson scored all eight of MacCumhaill’s factors, seven from frees.
